द्वितीयेन पुष्येण उद्धृत्य एकां शर्कराम् अभिमन्त्रयित्वा कपाटम् आहन्यात् ॥
When, having on the next day of the star of Pushya unearthed the pieces of sugar-candy, and chanting the above mantra, one strikes the door-panel of a house with one piece and throws four pieces in the interior, the door will open itself.
english translation
अभ्यन्तर्म् चतसृणां शर्कराणां द्वारम् अपाव्रियते ॥
If four pieces of sugar candy are thrown inside, the door will open.

चतुर् भक्त उपवासी कृष्ण चतुर्दश्यां भग्नस्य पुरुषस्य अस्थ्ना ऋषभं कारयेत्, अभिमन्त्रयेच् च एतेन ॥
Having fasted for four nights, one should on the fourteenth day of the dark half of the month get a figure of a bull prepared from the bone of a man, and worship it, repeating the above mantra.

द्वि गो युक्तं गो यानम् आहृतं भवति ॥
Then a cart drawn by two bulls will be brought.

ततः परम आकाशे विरामति ॥
before the worshipper who can (mount it and) drive in the sky.
