क्रेता शुल्कं राज पण्यच् छेद अनुरूपं च वैधरणं दद्यात्, अन्यत्र क्रेता षट् छतम् अत्ययं च ॥

sanskrit

The purchasers shall pay not only the toll (sulka), but also the compensation (vaidharana) equivalent to the loss entailed on the king's commerce. In default of the above payment, he shall be compelled to pay a fine of 600 panas.

english translation

kretA zulkaM rAja paNyac cheda anurUpaM ca vaidharaNaM dadyAt, anyatra kretA SaT chatam atyayaM ca ॥
