विपरीतः प्रकोपक इति ॥
that which is of the reverse nature excites hatred

viparItaH prakopaka iti ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमन्त्रिणाम् उपदेशाल् लाभो अलभ्यमानः कोपको भवति "अयम् अस्माभिः क्षय व्ययौ ग्राहितः" इति ॥
that profit which is received at the advice of ministers excites hatred, for they think: „This king has reduced our party and impoverished us."
english translation
mantriNAm upadezAl lAbho alabhyamAnaH kopako bhavati "ayam asmAbhiH kSaya vyayau grAhitaH" iti ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदूष्य मन्त्रिणाम् अनादराल् लाभो लभ्यमानः कोपको भवति "सिद्ध अर्थो अयम् अस्मान् विनाशयिष्यति" इति ॥
That profit which is received without caring for the opinion of treacherous ministers excites hatred, for they think: "Having made the profit, this king destroys us.

dUSya mantriNAm anAdarAl lAbho labhyamAnaH kopako bhavati "siddha artho ayam asmAn vinAzayiSyati" iti ॥

But that which is of the reverse nature pleases.

In this manner, both exhilarating and anger-inducing gains have been described.
