Arthashastra
तथा अपि प्रतिष्ठमानस्य प्रकृति कोपम् अस्य कारयेद् यथा संघ वृत्ते व्याख्यातं योग वामने च ॥
If without caring for the advice, the enemy proceeds on his own way, the weak king should create disaffection among the enemy's people by adopting such measures as are explained in the chapters, "The Conduct of Corporations," and "Enticement of the enemy by secret contrivances."

tathA api pratiSThamAnasya prakRti kopam asya kArayed yathA saMgha vRtte vyAkhyAtaM yoga vAmane ca ॥
