Sushruta Samhita
देशो वैद्यस्य वाग्देहमनसां च विचेष्टितम् । कथयन्त्यातुरगतं शुभं वा यदि वाऽशुभम् ॥४॥
The country, the physician's speech, and the behavior and mental state of the sick person are to be observed. By these, one can determine whether the condition of the patient is auspicious or inauspicious.
