सनातनत्वाद्वेदानामक्षरत्वात्तथैव च । तथा दृष्टफलत्वाच्च हितत्वादपि देहिनाम् ॥१४१॥
Because of the eternal nature of the Vedas, their imperishability, as well as their beneficial effects for the body, they are considered to be of great importance.

वेदों की शाश्वत प्रकृति, उनकी अविनाशीता तथा शरीर के लिए उनके लाभकारी प्रभावों के कारण उन्हें बहुत महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है।

वाक्समूहार्थविस्तारात् पूजितत्वाच्च देहिभिः । चिकित्सितात् पुण्यतमं न किञ्चिदपि शुश्रुमः ॥१४२॥
Due to the expansion of speech and meaning, their worship by people, and their treatment as the most virtuous, we have not heard anything superior to them.

वाणी और अर्थ के विस्तार, लोगों द्वारा उनकी पूजा तथा उन्हें सबसे श्रेष्ठ मानने के कारण हमने उनसे श्रेष्ठ कोई बात नहीं सुनी।

ऋषेरिन्द्रप्रभावस्यामृतयोनेर्भिषग्गुरोः । धारयित्वा तु विमलं मतं परमसम्मतम् । उक्ताहारसमाचार इह प्रेत्य च मोदते ॥१४३॥
By holding the pure teachings of the sage, the divine influence of Indra, and the wisdom of the physician-guru, one attains the highest and most revered knowledge. Such a person, after passing away, enjoys great happiness in the afterlife due to their adherence to the prescribed diet and conduct.

ऋषि की शुद्ध शिक्षा, इन्द्र के दिव्य प्रभाव तथा वैद्य-गुरु की बुद्धि को धारण करके मनुष्य सर्वोच्च तथा सर्वाधिक पूजनीय ज्ञान प्राप्त करता है। ऐसा व्यक्ति, मरणोपरांत, निर्धारित आहार-विहार तथा आचरण के कारण, परलोक में महान सुख भोगता है।
