Sushruta Samhita
तैर्भवन्तीह दष्टानां रोगाः पित्तनिमित्तजाः । विश्वम्भरः पञ्चशुक्लः पञ्चकृष्णोऽथ कोकिलः ॥१२॥
The diseases caused by these (insects) in those who are bitten are primarily of the Pitta type. Among them are Vishvambhara, Panchashukla, Panchakrishna, and Kokila.
