सर्पाणां शुक्रविण्मूत्रशवपूत्यण्डसम्भवाः । वाय्वग्न्यम्बुप्रकृतयः कीटास्तु विविधाः स्मृताः ॥३॥
Various types of insects are said to originate from the semen, feces, urine, decaying flesh, and eggs of snakes. They are also classified based on their association with air, fire, and water.
