येनान्तरेण तु कलां कालकल्पं भिनत्ति हि । समीरणेनोह्यमानं तत्तु वेगान्तरं स्मृतम् ॥४१॥
The venom, by the action of air (vayu), disturbs the sequential stages of bodily tissues, effectively splitting or disrupting the normal progression over time, which is referred to as the "interval velocity" of venom.

विष, वायु की क्रिया द्वारा, शरीर के ऊतकों की क्रमिक अवस्थाओं को अस्त-व्यस्त कर देता है, तथा समय के साथ सामान्य प्रगति को प्रभावी रूप से विभाजित या बाधित कर देता है, जिसे विष का "अंतराल वेग" कहा जाता है।
