एवं वित्तव्यतिषङ्गविवृद्धवैरानुबन्धोऽपि पूर्ववासनया मिथ उद्वहत्यथापवहति ॥ ५-१४-३७ ॥
Although people may be enemies, in order to fulfill their desires again and again, they sometimes get married. Unfortunately, these marriages do not last very long, and the people involved are separated again by divorce or other means. ॥ 5-14-37 ॥
english translation
अपनी इच्छाओं की बारम्बार पूर्ति के लिए मनुष्य परस्पर शत्रु होने पर भी कभी-कभी विवाह सम्बध स्थापित कर लेते हैं। दुर्भाग्यवश ये विवाह दीर्घकाल तक नहीं चल पाते और ऐसे लोग तलाक या अन्य कारणों से पुन: विलग हो जाते हैं। ॥ ५-१४-३७ ॥
