यः श्रद्धयैतद्भगवत्प्रियाणां पाण्डोः सुतानामिति सम्प्रयाणम् । शृणोत्यलं स्वस्त्ययनं पवित्रं लब्ध्वा हरौ भक्तिमुपैति सिद्धिम् ॥ १-१५-५१ ॥
The subject of the departure of the sons of Pāṇḍu for the ultimate goal of life, back to Godhead, is fully auspicious and is perfectly pure. Therefore anyone who hears this narration with devotional faith certainly gains the devotional service of the Lord, the highest perfection of life. ॥ 1-15-51 ॥
english translation
पाण्डु-पुत्रों द्वारा जीवन के परम लक्ष्य भगवद्धाम के लिए प्रस्थान का यह विषय अत्यन्त शुभ तथा परम पवित्र है। अतएव जो भी इस कथा को भक्तिभावपूर्वक सुनता है, वह जीवन की परम सिद्धि भगवद्भक्ति को निश्चय ही प्राप्त करता है। ॥ १-१५-५१ ॥
