मुखे यस्य शिवनाम सदाशिवशिवेति च । पापानि न स्पृशंत्येव खदिरांगारंकयथा ६ ।
Sins never touch those from whose mouth the names Sadāśiva, Śiva etc. come out for ever, as they do not touch the burning charcoal of the khadira wood.
english translation
श्रीशिवाय नमस्तुभ्यं मुखं व्याहरते यदा । तन्मुखं पावनं तीर्थं सर्वपापविनाशनम् ७ ।
When a mouth utters “Obeisance to Thee, holy Śiva” that mouth (face) is on a par with holy centres destroying all sins.
english translation
तन्मुखञ्च तथा यो वै पश्यतिप्रीतिमान्नरः । तीर्थजन्यं फलं तस्य भवतीति सुनिश्चितम् ८ ।
It is certain that the benefit of making pilgrimages to holy centres accrues to one who lovingly looks at His holy face.
english translation
यत्र त्रयं सदा तिष्ठेदेतच्छुभतरं द्विजा । तस्य दर्शनमात्रेण वेणीस्नानफलंलभेत् ९ ।
O brahmins, the place where these three are found is the most auspicious one. A mere contact of the place accords the benefit of taking a holy dip in the sacred Triveṇī.
english translation
शिवनामविभूतिश्च तथा रुद्रा क्ष एव च । एतत्त्रयं महापुण्यं त्रिवेणीसदृशं स्मृतम् 1-23-१० ।
Śiva’s name, the ashes and the Rudrākṣa beads—the three are very holy and are on a par with Triveṇī[1] (the confluence of the three holy rivers).
