तदेवं तुलितं पूर्वं ब्रह्मणाहितकारिणा । समानं चैव तज्जातं तस्माद्धार्यं सदा बुधैः १६ ।

On the other side he put the blessedness achieved by those who took their bath in the holy Triveṇī. Both were found equal. Hence scholars shall wear these always.

tadevaM tulitaM pUrvaM brahmaNAhitakAriNA | samAnaM caiva tajjAtaM tasmAddhAryaM sadA budhaiH 16 |
