एतस्य बिल्वमूलस्याथालवालमनुत्तमम् । जलाकुलं महादेवो दृष्ट्वा तुष्टोभवत्यलम् २६ ।
Seeing the water basin round the foot of the Bilva tree full of water, Śiva becomes greatly pleased.
english translation
etasya bilvamUlasyAthAlavAlamanuttamam । jalAkulaM mahAdevo dRSTvA tuSTobhavatyalam 26 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूजयेद्बिल्वमूलं यो गंधपुष्पादिभिर्नरः । शिवलोकमवाप्नोति संततिर्वर्द्धते सुखम् २७ ।
The man who worships the root of a Bilva tree offering scents and flowers attains the region of Śiva. His happiness increases; his family flourishes.
english translation
pUjayedbilvamUlaM yo gaMdhapuSpAdibhirnaraH । zivalokamavApnoti saMtatirvarddhate sukham 27 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबिल्वमूले दीपमालां यः कल्पयति सादरम् । स तत्त्वज्ञानसंपन्नो महेशांतर्गतो भवेत् २८ ।
He who places a row of lighted lamps at the root of Bilva tree with reverence becomes endowed with the knowledge of truth and merges into Śiva.
english translation
bilvamUle dIpamAlAM yaH kalpayati sAdaram । sa tattvajJAnasaMpanno mahezAMtargato bhavet 28 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबिल्वशाखां समादाय हस्तेन नवपल्लवम् । गृहीत्वा पूजयेद्बिल्वं स च पापैः प्रमुच्यते २९ ।
He who worships the Bilva tree abounding in fresh tender sprouts becomes free from sins.
english translation
bilvazAkhAM samAdAya hastena navapallavam । gRhItvA pUjayedbilvaM sa ca pApaiH pramucyate 29 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबिल्वमूले शिवरतं भोजयेद्यस्तु भक्तितः । एकं वा कोटिगुणितं तस्य पुण्यं प्रजायते 1-22-३० ।
If a man piously feeds a devotee of Śiva at the root of a Bilva tree he reaps the fruit thereof, ten million times more than in the usual course.
english translation
bilvamUle zivarataM bhojayedyastu bhaktitaH । ekaM vA koTiguNitaM tasya puNyaM prajAyate 1-22-30 ।
