ऋषयः ऊचुः । अग्राह्यं शिवनैवेद्यमिति पूर्वं श्रुतं वचः । ब्रूहि तन्निर्णयं बिल्वमाहात्म्यमपि सन्मुने १ ।
The sages said: O good sage, we have heard before, that the offering of eatables (Naivedya) made to Śiva should not be taken by others. Please tell us decisively about this and also about the greatness of Bilva.
