Shiva Purana
कृत्वा न्यासविधिं सम्यक्षडण्गकरयोस्तथा । षडक्षरेण मंत्रेण ततो ध्यानं समाचरेत् 1-20-५० ।
The Nyāsa rite shall be duly performed and the Aṅganyāsa of the two hands shall also be performed. The devotee shall perform meditation with the six-syllabled mantra—Om namaśśivāya.
english translation
kRtvA nyAsavidhiM samyakSaDaNgakarayostathA । SaDakSareNa maMtreNa tato dhyAnaM samAcaret 1-20-50 ।
