Shiva Purana
तावत्स्वरूपं दुर्बोधं शिवस्य महतामपि । यावच्छिवपुराणं हि नो देष्यति जगत्यहो ८ ।
It is difficult even to great men to comprehend Śiva’s features as long as the Śivapurāṇa has not risen high in the world.
english translation
tAvatsvarUpaM durbodhaM zivasya mahatAmapi । yAvacchivapurANaM hi no deSyati jagatyaho 8 ।
