तावत्सर्वपुराणानि प्रगर्जंति महीतले । यावच्छिवपुराणं हि नोदेष्यति जगत्यहो 1-2-१० ।

All the other Purāṇas roar loudly on the earth as long as the Śivapurāṇa has not risen high in the world.

english translation

tAvatsarvapurANAni pragarjaMti mahItale । yAvacchivapurANaM hi nodeSyati jagatyaho 1-2-10 ।
