Shiva Purana
करोत्येव हि पूतात्मा प्राणैरपि धनैरपि । तस्माद्वै शासने योग्यः शिष्य इत्यभिधीयते ८८ ।
The pure-hearted soul performs actions with their body, life, and wealth. Therefore, such a person is called a worthy disciple (who is fit for instruction).
english translation
karotyeva hi pUtAtmA prANairapi dhanairapi । tasmAdvai zAsane yogyaH ziSya ityabhidhIyate 88 ।
