Shiva Purana
नमस्कारं ततः कुर्यात्प्रदक्षिणमितीरितम् । निर्गमाज्जननं प्राप्तं नमस्त्वात्मसमर्पणम् १४३ ।
This is the procedure of circumambulation. When the birth takes place, the obeisance which is the dedication of the soul prevents further birth.
english translation
namaskAraM tataH kuryAtpradakSiNamitIritam । nirgamAjjananaM prAptaM namastvAtmasamarpaNam 143 ।
