जपेत्पंचाक्षरीं विद्यां प्राण्मुखः शुद्धकर्मकृत् । प्रातः कृष्णचतुर्दश्यां नित्यकर्मसमाप्य च ४१ ।
One should chant the Pañcākṣarī Vidyā (Om Namah Shivaya) while facing the east, after completing their daily duties. This should be done in the morning on the Krishna Chaturdashi (the 14th day of the waning moon).
