The devotee who practises the Japa of Praṇava (Om) with due ritualistic placings of fingers on the parts of his body becomes a sage. He shall attain all the benefits of the ritualistic Nyāsa such as the blessings of ten mothers and the (attainment of) six pathways.
प्रवृत्तानां च मिश्राणां स्थूलप्रणवमिष्यते । क्रियातपोजपैर्युक्तास्त्रिविधाः शिवयोगिनः २७ ।

धनादिविभवैश्चैव कराद्यंगैर्नमादिभिः । क्रियया पूजया युक्तः क्रियायोगीति कथ्यते २८ ।
A person who is engaged in actions, rituals, or worship with wealth or material resources, and who is dedicated to the practice of these through their hands, actions, and prayers, is referred to as a Kriyayogi.
पूजायुक्तश्च मितभुग्बाह्येंद्रि यजयान्वितः । परद्रो हादिरहितस्तपोयोगीति कथ्यते २९ ।
A person who is engaged in worship, moderate in their consumption, with controlled external senses, and free from the harm of others, is called a Tapoyogi.
