धनुर्मासे विशेषेण महानैवेद्यमाचरेत् । शालितंडुलभारेण मरीचप्रस्थकेन च ७१ ।
During the month of Dhanurmasa, one should specifically offer a great offering (naivedya) with shāli rice and tandula (unbroken rice), and with the quantity of marīca (black pepper) and prastaka (a measuring vessel).
गणनाद्द्वादशं सर्वं मध्वाज्यकुडवेन हि । द्रोणयुक्तेन मुद्गेन द्वादशव्यंजनेन च ७२ ।
For the offering (naivedya) during the Dhanurmasa, one should prepare twelve portions using honey, clarified butter, and a container, along with the inclusion of drona (a type of vessel), mudga (a type of pulse), and twelve different dishes.
घृतपक्वैरपूपैश्च मोदकैः शालिकादिभिः । द्वादशैश्च दधिक्षीरैर्द्वादशप्रस्थकेन च ७३ ।
With clarified butter (ghee) cooked cakes, modakas, shāli rice, and others, along with twelve types of curd and milk, the offering should be made using a twelve-prastha measure.
नारिकेलफलादीनां तथा गणनया सह । द्वादशक्रमुकैर्युक्तं षट्त्रिंशत्पत्रकैर्युतम् ७४ ।
With coconuts, fruits, and other offerings, along with the correct count, it should be associated with twelve krama (steps) and thirty-six leaves (patra), all carefully measured and offered.
With camphor powder, mixed with five fragrant substances, and betel leaves, it becomes a great offering symbolizing the completion of the sacred ritual.
