For those to whom Shiva Himself, the supreme and auspicious deity, is directly present, the stories of Shiva in this world always remain dear to them.

yeSAM caiva zivaH sAkSAddaivataM paramaM zubham | sadA zivakathA loke vallabhA bhavatAM sadA 4 |
