सहस्रमंत्रजप्तेन नित्यशुद्धो भवेत्पुमान् । ततः परं स्वसिद्ध्यर्थं जपो भवति हि द्विजाः २२ ।

sanskrit

By repeating it daily for a thousand times the devotee becomes perpetually pure. O brahmins, thereafter the repetition of the mantra is conducive to the achievement of desires.

english translation

sahasramaMtrajaptena nityazuddho bhavetpumAn | tataH paraM svasiddhyarthaM japo bhavati hi dvijAH 22 |
