उद्दिश्य पूजयेदादिपितरं शिवमेव हि । पूजां कृत्वादिमातुश्च शिवभक्तांश्च पूजयेत् १४५ ।

One should worship Shiva, who is the ultimate origin, with the aim of honoring one's ancestors. After performing this worship, one should also worship the great mother and the devotees of Shiva.
