अर्थवानिह यो लोके परस्यार्थं प्रयच्छति । स्वयं शुद्धो हि पूतात्मा नरान्संत्रातुमर्हति १७ ।

sanskrit

The one who is wealthy in this world and gives for the welfare of others, and who himself is pure and has a purified soul, is worthy of saving others.

english translation

arthavAniha yo loke parasyArthaM prayacchati | svayaM zuddho hi pUtAtmA narAnsaMtrAtumarhati 17 |
