यातनाश्च महत्योऽत्र शरीरस्याति सर्वतः ॥ निश्शेषनरकेष्वेवं क्रमंति क्रमशो नराः ॥ १६ ॥

Here the tortures to the body are very severe. Men thus go from one hell to another and are tortured in all the hells.

english translation

yAtanAzca mahatyo'tra zarIrasyAti sarvataH ॥ nizzeSanarakeSvevaM kramaMti kramazo narAH ॥ 16 ॥
