चित्रगुप्त उवाच ॥ भो भो दुष्कृतकर्म्माणः पर द्रव्यापहारकाः ॥ गर्विता रूपवीर्येण परदारावमर्द्दकाः ॥ १॥
Chitragupta said. O you who have committed evil deeds and robbed others of their property Proud of their beauty and strength they crush other men's wives.
english translation
यस्त्वयं क्रियते कर्म तदिदं भुज्यते पुनः ॥ तत्किमात्मोपघातार्थं भवद्भिर्दुष्कृतं कृतम् ॥ २ ॥
The action which you perform is enjoyed again. What is that evil you have done to kill yourselves?
english translation
इदानीं किं प्रलप्यध्वे पीड्यमानास्स्वकर्मभिः ॥ भुज्यंतां स्वानि कर्म्माणि नास्ति दोषो हि कस्यचित् ॥ ३ ॥
Why do you lament now? You are being tortured by your own actions. Reap the fruits thereof. This is not the fault of anyone else.

सनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ एवं ते पृथिवीपालास्संप्राप्तास्तत्समीपतः ॥ स्वकीयैः कर्म्मभिघौरैर्दुष्कर्म्मबलदर्पिणः ॥ ४ ॥
Sanatkumara said:- Thus the rulers of the earth arrived near him They are proud of their own terrible deeds and the strength of their evil deeds
english translation
तानपि क्रोधसंयुक्तश्चित्रगुप्तो महाप्रभुः ॥ संशिक्षयति धर्मज्ञो यमराजानुशिक्षया ॥ ५ ॥
The great lord Chitragupta was furious with them too The knower of dharma teaches him by the teachings of the king of Yama.
