परिवित्तिः परिवेत्ता च यया च परिविद्यते ॥ तयोर्दानं च कन्यायास्तयोरेव च याजनम् ॥ ३ ॥

Parivitti (the elder brother who is not married but who has allowed the younger brother to marry); Parivettṛ (the younger brother who marries thus); Giving daughters to these two or allowing them to officiate in sacrifices.

english translation

parivittiH parivettA ca yayA ca parividyate ॥ tayordAnaM ca kanyAyAstayoreva ca yAjanam ॥ 3 ॥
