Shiva Purana
ततः पाशं समुत्थाय क्षिप्त्वा तस्योपरी श्वरी ॥ बबन्ध महिषं सोऽपि रूपन्तत्याज माहिषम् ॥ ४९ ॥
She took up a noose and hurled it at him. She bound the Asura Mahiṣa. Then the demon abandoned his assumed guise.
english translation
tataH pAzaM samutthAya kSiptvA tasyoparI zvarI ॥ babandha mahiSaM so'pi rUpantatyAja mAhiSam ॥ 49 ॥
