गंगां विहाय तृप्त्यर्थं मरुवारि यथा व्रजेत् ॥ विहाय देवीं तद्भिन्नं तथा देवान्तरं व्रजेत्॥ ११॥
Abandoning the goddess and resorting to another deity is as bad as abandoning the Gaṅgā and resorting to water in the desert for the sake of satisfaction.
