पारदा मुंडकेशाश्च पाह्नवाश्श्मश्रुधारिणः ।। निस्स्वाध्यायवषट्काराः कृतास्तेन महात्मना ।। ४६।।

Pāradas were given close hair-cut and Pahlavas were asked to grow beard and moustache. All of them were deprived of the right of the Vedic study and the use of Vaṣaṭkāra.

english translation

pAradA muMDakezAzca pAhnavAzzmazrudhAriNaH || nissvAdhyAyavaSaTkArAH kRtAstena mahAtmanA || 46||
