पालने हि महाधर्मः प्रजानामिह दृश्यते ॥ न तथा दृश्यतेऽरण्ये मा तेऽभूद्बुद्धिरीदृशी ॥ २१॥

Great virtue accrues from the protection of the subjects. A similar opportunity is wanting in the forest. Let not your mind be directed that way.

english translation

pAlane hi mahAdharmaH prajAnAmiha dRzyate ॥ na tathA dRzyate'raNye mA te'bhUdbuddhirIdRzI ॥ 21॥
