अकरोत्पुत्त्रकामस्तु मनुरिष्टिं प्रजापति॥ अनुत्पन्नेषु पुत्रेषु तत्रेष्ट्यां मुनिपुंगवः॥ ३॥

Desiring to have a son Manu, the creator, performed the sacrifice. The foremost of the ascetics performed the sacrifice when his sons were not born.
