पृथुर्वैन्यस्तदा पृध्वीमरक्षत्क्षत्रपूर्वजः ।। राजसूयाभिषिक्तानामाद्यस्स वसुधापतिः ।। २१।।

sanskrit

Pṛthu, son of Vena, the ancestor of all Kṣatriyas protected the earth. He was the first lord of Earth, the first among those anointed in the Rājasūya sacrifice.

english translation

pRthurvainyastadA pRdhvImarakSatkSatrapUrvajaH || rAjasUyAbhiSiktAnAmAdyassa vasudhApatiH || 21||
