अजरामरतां नीतस्तीर्त्वा शापं पुनश्च सः ॥ शंकरेण कृतः प्रीत्या नित्यं लम्बोदरानुगः ॥ ६४ ॥
Thus passing through the curse he was made free from death and old age by Śiva and lovingly appointed as a permanent follower of Gaṇeśa.
