Shiva Purana
तृतीयं नादते शृंगमभिचारि नियोजयेत् ॥ विद्विडुच्चाटने शत्रोर्मारणे च प्रयोजयेत्॥ ४६॥
The third sound is Śṛṅga. It is employed in black magic for exorcizing enemies and killing them.
