तस्माच्छब्दा नव प्रोक्ताः प्राणविद्भिस्तु लक्षिताः ।। तान्प्रवक्ष्यामि यत्नेन नादसिद्धिमनुक्रमात् ।। ३९।।

Hence the Śabdas are ninefold as explained by those who know the science of breath. I shall explain them assiduously in the proper order according to the Siddhi of Nāda.

english translation

tasmAcchabdA nava proktAH prANavidbhistu lakSitAH || tAnpravakSyAmi yatnena nAdasiddhimanukramAt || 39||
