शरत्काले तु सलिलं तडागे यस्य तिष्ठति ॥ गोसहस्रफलं तस्य भवेन्नैवात्र संशयः ॥ १३ ॥

sanskrit

There is no doubt at all in this that the benefit of gifting away a thousand cows is derived by a man, in the lake dug by whom there is plenty of water in the Autumn.

english translation

zaratkAle tu salilaM taDAge yasya tiSThati ॥ gosahasraphalaM tasya bhavennaivAtra saMzayaH ॥ 13 ॥
