Shiva Purana
तानन्नदाश्च गच्छंति तस्मादन्नप्रदो भवेत् ॥ यदीच्छेदात्मनो भव्यमिह लोके परत्र च ॥ ४६ ॥
The giver of food goes to these regions. One should be a giver of food if one wishes for one’s own good in this or in the other world.
english translation
tAnannadAzca gacchaMti tasmAdannaprado bhavet ॥ yadIcchedAtmano bhavyamiha loke paratra ca ॥ 46 ॥
