अग्निवर्णास्तु तप्ताश्च त्रिशाखा लोहशंकवः ।। आखिद्यंते च बहुशः स्थानेष्वेतेषु मुद्गरैः ।। २३ ।।

They were of the color of fire and burnt with three branches and iron cones They are often pierced with hammers in these places.

english translation

agnivarNAstu taptAzca trizAkhA lohazaMkavaH || AkhidyaMte ca bahuzaH sthAneSveteSu mudgaraiH || 23 ||
