मया परीक्षितासि त्वं बहुधा दृढमानसे ॥ तत्क्षमस्वापराधम्मे लोकलीलानुसारिणः ॥ ४६ ॥
O steady-minded one, you have been tested by me in various ways. Let my guilt be excused in following this worldly game.
english translation
mayA parIkSitAsi tvaM bahudhA dRDhamAnase ॥ tatkSamasvAparAdhamme lokalIlAnusAriNaH ॥ 46 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन त्वादृशीम्प्रणयिनीं पश्यामि च त्रिलोकके ॥ सर्वथाहं तवाधीनस्स्वकामः पूर्य्यतां शिवे ॥ ४७ ॥
Even in the three worlds I do not see a beloved like you. O Pārvatī, in every respect I am subservient to you. You can fulfil all your desires.
english translation
na tvAdRzImpraNayinIM pazyAmi ca trilokake ॥ sarvathAhaM tavAdhInassvakAmaH pUryyatAM zive ॥ 47 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएहि प्रिये मत्सकाशं पत्नी त्वं मे वरस्तव ॥ त्वया साकं द्रुतं यास्ये स्वगृहम्पर्वत्तोत्तमम् ॥ ४८ ॥
O beloved, come on near me. You are my wife. I am your bridegroom. I shall immediately go to my abode—the excellent mountain, along with you.
english translation
ehi priye matsakAzaM patnI tvaM me varastava ॥ tvayA sAkaM drutaM yAsye svagRhamparvattottamam ॥ 48 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्युक्ते देवदेवेन पार्वती मुदमाप सा ॥ तपोजातं तु यत्कष्टं तज्जहौ च पुरातनम् ॥ ४९ ॥
Brahmā said: When the lord of the gods spoke in this way, Pārvatī rejoiced. Whatever distress she had felt during penance she cast off as something old.
english translation
brahmovAca ॥ ityukte devadevena pArvatI mudamApa sA ॥ tapojAtaM tu yatkaSTaM tajjahau ca purAtanam ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वः श्रमो विनष्टोभूत्स त्यास्तु मुनिसत्तम ॥ फले जाते श्रमः पूर्वो जन्तोर्नाशमवाप्नुयात् ॥ 2-3-28-५० ॥
O excellent sage, her weariness subsided. In fact, when the fruit is realised, the exertion felt during the process of undertaking perishes.

sarvaH zramo vinaSTobhUtsa tyAstu munisattama ॥ phale jAte zramaH pUrvo jantornAzamavApnuyAt ॥ 2-3-28-50 ॥
