अनिर्देश्यं च तद्रूपमनाम कर्मवर्जितम् ॥ अलिंगं लिंगतां प्राप्तं ध्यानमार्गेप्यगोचरम् ॥६६॥
That form can’t be directly expressed. It is without action and name. Without any sex-distinction it has become a liṅga. It is beyond the path of meditation.

स्वस्थं चित्तं तदा कृत्वा नमस्कार परायणो ॥ बभूवतुरुभावावामहं हरिरपि ध्रुवम्॥६७॥
Both of us, Hari and I, with the peace of our minds, became eager to perform obeisance.

जानीवो न हि ते रूपं योऽसियोऽसि महाप्रभो ॥ नमोऽस्तु ते महेशान रूपं दर्शय नौ त्वरन् ॥६८॥
We do not know Thy true form, what Thou art Thou art, O great lord. Obeisance be to Thee, O Maheśāna. Please hurry up to reveal Thy form to us.

एवं शरच्छतान्यासन्नमस्कारं प्रकुर्वतोः ॥ आवयोर्मुनिशार्दूल मदमास्थितयोस्तदा ॥६९॥
Thus performing obeisance and prayer to quell our earlier pride, O foremost of sages, we spent a hundred autumns therein.
