किं कार्य्यं कार्यमद्याशु मया देवसुखावहम् ॥ येन जीवतु दक्षासौ मखः पूर्णो भवेत्सुरः ॥ ६ ॥
What step shall I take to please the devas, whereby Dakṣa can be restored to life and whereby the sacrifice also be completed?
english translation
kiM kAryyaM kAryamadyAzu mayA devasukhAvaham ॥ yena jIvatu dakSAsau makhaH pUrNo bhavetsuraH ॥ 6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं विचार्य बहुधा नालभं शमहं मुने ॥ विष्णुं तदा स्मरन् भक्त्या ज्ञानमाप्तं तदोचितम् ॥ ७ ॥
O sage, even after thinking a lot I did not attain any peace of mind. Remembering lord Viṣṇu with devotion I knew what I shall do.
english translation
evaM vicArya bahudhA nAlabhaM zamahaM mune ॥ viSNuM tadA smaran bhaktyA jJAnamAptaM tadocitam ॥ 7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ देवैश्च मुनिभिर्विष्णोर्लोकमहं गतः ॥ नत्वा नुत्वा च विविधैस्स्तवैर्दुःखं न्यवेदयम् ॥८॥
Then I went to the world of Viṣṇu along with the gods and the sages. After bowing to and eulogising him with various hymns I informed him of my misery.
english translation
atha devaizca munibhirviSNorlokamahaM gataH ॥ natvA nutvA ca vividhaisstavairduHkhaM nyavedayam ॥8॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथाध्वरः प्रपूर्णः स्याद्देव यज्ञकरश्च सः ॥ सुखिनस्स्युस्सुरास्सर्वे मुनयश्च तथा कुरु ॥ ९ ॥
Please make arrangements so that the sacrifice shall be completed, the gods and the sages be happy. As you know he was performing a sacrifice.

yathAdhvaraH prapUrNaH syAddeva yajJakarazca saH ॥ sukhinassyussurAssarve munayazca tathA kuru ॥ 9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेव देव रमानाथ विष्णो देवसुखावह ॥ वयं त्वच्छरणं प्राप्तास्सदेवमुनयो ध्रुवम् ॥ 2-2-40-१० ॥
O lord of Lakṣmī, lord of gods, bestower of happiness to the gods, we, including the devas and the sages, have sought refuge in you.
english translation
deva deva ramAnAtha viSNo devasukhAvaha ॥ vayaM tvaccharaNaM prAptAssadevamunayo dhruvam ॥ 2-2-40-10 ॥
