गणैस्समेतः किलतैर्महात्मा स वीरभद्रो हरवेषभूषणः ॥ सहस्रबाहुर्भुजगाधिपाढ्यो ययौ रथस्थः प्रबलोतिभीकरः ॥६॥
Accompanied by these Gaṇas, the noble-souled Vīrabhadra who had the same dress, features and embellishments as Śiva went ahead in a chariot. He had a thousand arms each like hoods of the serpent king. He was powerful and terrifying.
english translation
gaNaissametaH kilatairmahAtmA sa vIrabhadro haraveSabhUSaNaH ॥ sahasrabAhurbhujagAdhipADhyo yayau rathasthaH prabalotibhIkaraH ॥6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनल्वानं च सहस्रे द्वे प्रमाणं स्यंदनस्य हि ॥ अयुतेनैव सिंहानां वाहनानां प्रयत्नतः ॥७॥
The chariots numbered as many as two thousand Nalvas of land could contain. Ten thousand lions pulled the chariots strenuously.

nalvAnaM ca sahasre dve pramANaM syaMdanasya hi ॥ ayutenaiva siMhAnAM vAhanAnAM prayatnataH ॥7॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथैव प्रबलाः सिंहा बहवः पार्श्वरक्षकाः ॥ शार्दूला मकरा मत्स्या गजास्तत्र सहस्रशः ॥८॥
Many strong lions, tigers, crocodiles, huge fishes and thousands of elephants constituted his body-guard.

tathaiva prabalAH siMhA bahavaH pArzvarakSakAH ॥ zArdUlA makarA matsyA gajAstatra sahasrazaH ॥8॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवीरभद्रे प्रचलिते दक्षनाशाय सत्वरम् ॥ कल्पवृक्षसमुत्सृष्टा पुष्पवृष्टिरभूत्तदा ॥ ९ ॥
When Vīrabhadra set-off quickly for slaying Dakṣa, a shower of flowers fell there let loose by the divine Kalpa tree.

vIrabhadre pracalite dakSanAzAya satvaram ॥ kalpavRkSasamutsRSTA puSpavRSTirabhUttadA ॥ 9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतुष्टुवुश्च गणा वीर शिपिविष्टे प्रचेष्टितम् ॥ चक्रुः कुतूहलं सर्वे तस्मिंश्च गमनोत्सवैः ॥2-2-33-१०॥
During the festivities of their march, the Gaṇas eulogised the heroic Vīrabhadra who was carrying out the job of Śiva and they exhibited their enthusiasm.
