ततो विहाय मनसा सतीं तां परमेश्वरः ॥ जगाम स्वगिरि भेदं जगावद्धा स हि प्रभुः ॥ ५२ ॥

Then after forsaking Satī mentally, the lord returned to His abode. He did not at all reveal the promise.
