अस्तं गते ततः सूर्य्ये शोणपद्मनिभे सदा ।। उदेति सायं संध्यापि पितॄणां मोदकारिणी ।।१२।।

sanskrit

When the sun has set and assumed the hue of a red lotus, the period of Sāyaṃsandhyā sets in. It is delightful to the manes.

english translation

astaM gate tataH sUryye zoNapadmanibhe sadA || udeti sAyaM saMdhyApi pitRRNAM modakAriNI ||12||
