शास्तिस्मेत्थञ्च बहुशो रुद्रस्सूतिकरः प्रभुः । नारदो न हितं मेने शिवमायाविमोहितः ।।३५।।

sanskrit

Sūta said: Lord Rudra, the cause of creation, advised him in many ways like this. But Nārada who was still under the influence of Śiva’s Māyā did not take up this wholesome advice.

english translation

zAstismetthaJca bahuzo rudrassUtikaraH prabhuH | nArado na hitaM mene zivamAyAvimohitaH ||35||
