तस्य पुत्रो महावीरो मुनीश्वर गजासुरः ॥ पितुर्वधं हि संस्मृत्य कृतं देव्या सुरार्थनात् ॥ ३ ॥
O great sage, his son the great hero Gajāsura could not forget the slaying of his father by the goddess at the request of the gods and hence remembered that enmity.
